Privacy Policy

      Scriptorium does not collect, store, or share any personal data with the developer or third parties. All your notes stay on your device.
    

1. Data Storage

All notes, images, PDFs, voice recordings, and settings are stored locally on your device using Android's internal storage and Room database. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly use the Google Drive backup feature.

2. Google Drive Backup (Optional)

If you choose to sign in with Google, Scriptorium will:

Access your Google account solely to read and write a single backup file (biblical_notes_backup.json) in your personal Google Drive.
Never read, modify, or access any other files in your Drive.
Not share your Google account information with anyone.

You can sign out at any time from the Settings screen. Signing out removes all Google account access from the app.

3. Microphone

Microphone access is used only for voice note recording within the app. Audio files are saved locally on your device. No audio is transmitted to any server.

4. Biometric Authentication

The app uses Android's built-in biometric system (fingerprint / face recognition) to lock individual notes. Biometric data is processed entirely by the Android operating system — Scriptorium never accesses or stores biometric data.

5. Camera / Photo Library

Camera and photo library access is used only to attach images to your notes. Images are stored locally in the app's private storage folder. They are not uploaded anywhere.

6. Notifications

If you set a reminder on a note, the app will send a local notification at the scheduled time. No notification data is sent to any external server.

7. Permissions Summary

INTERNET — Required for Google Drive backup and fetching Bible verse references.
RECORD_AUDIO — Voice note recording (local only).
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES — Attaching images to notes.
USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT — Locking notes.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Reminder notifications.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — Scheduling exact-time reminders.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — Restoring scheduled reminders after device restart.

8. Third-Party Services

Scriptorium uses the following third-party services:

Google Sign-In & Drive API — For optional cloud backup. Subject to Google's Privacy Policy.
getbible.net — Public API for fetching Bible verse text. No user data is sent; only book/chapter/verse identifiers are requested.

9. Children's Privacy

Scriptorium does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. The app contains no advertising, analytics SDKs, or user tracking of any kind.

10. Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be published at this URL with a new "Last updated" date.

1. Veri Depolama

Tüm notlar, resimler, PDF'ler, ses kayıtları ve ayarlar yalnızca cihazınızda Android'in dahili depolama alanı ve Room veritabanı kullanılarak saklanır. Bu veriler, Google Drive yedekleme özelliğini açıkça kullanmadığınız sürece cihazınızdan hiçbir zaman çıkmaz.

2. Google Drive Yedekleme (İsteğe Bağlı)

Google ile giriş yapmayı seçerseniz Scriptorium:

Google hesabınıza yalnızca kişisel Google Drive'ınızda tek bir yedek dosya (biblical_notes_backup.json) okumak ve yazmak amacıyla erişir.
Drive'ınızdaki başka hiçbir dosyayı okumaz, değiştirmez veya erişemez.
Google hesap bilgilerinizi kimseyle paylaşmaz.

Ayarlar ekranından istediğiniz zaman çıkış yapabilirsiniz. Çıkış yapıldığında uygulama tüm Google hesap erişimini siler.

3. Mikrofon

Mikrofon erişimi yalnızca uygulama içinde ses notu kaydetmek için kullanılır. Ses dosyaları cihazınızda yerel olarak kaydedilir. Hiçbir ses sunucuya iletilmez.

4. Biyometrik Kimlik Doğrulama

Uygulama, notları kilitlemek için Android'in yerleşik biyometrik sistemini (parmak izi / yüz tanıma) kullanır. Biyometrik veriler tamamen Android işletim sistemi tarafından işlenir — Scriptorium biyometrik verilere hiçbir şekilde erişmez veya bunları depolamaz.

5. Kamera / Fotoğraf Kütüphanesi

Kamera ve fotoğraf kütüphanesi erişimi yalnızca notlara resim eklemek için kullanılır. Resimler, uygulamanın özel depolama klasöründe yerel olarak saklanır. Herhangi bir yere yüklenmez.

6. Bildirimler

Bir nota hatırlatıcı ayarlarsanız uygulama, belirlenen saatte yerel bir bildirim gönderir. Bildirim verisi herhangi bir dış sunucuya gönderilmez.

7. İzinler Özeti

INTERNET — Google Drive yedekleme ve ayet referansı getirme için gereklidir.
RECORD_AUDIO — Ses notu kaydı (yalnızca yerel).
READ_MEDIA_IMAGES — Notlara resim ekleme.
USE_BIOMETRIC / USE_FINGERPRINT — Not kilitleme.
POST_NOTIFICATIONS — Hatırlatıcı bildirimleri.
SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM — Tam zamanlı hatırlatıcı planlaması.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — Cihaz yeniden başlatıldıktan sonra planlı hatırlatıcıların geri yüklenmesi.

8. Üçüncü Taraf Hizmetler

Scriptorium aşağıdaki üçüncü taraf hizmetleri kullanmaktadır:

Google Sign-In & Drive API — İsteğe bağlı bulut yedekleme için. Google Gizlilik Politikası kapsamındadır.
getbible.net — Ayet metni almak için kullanılan kamuya açık API. Kullanıcı verisi gönderilmez; yalnızca kitap/bölüm/ayet tanımlayıcıları istenir.

9. Çocukların Gizliliği

Scriptorium, 13 yaşın altındaki çocuklardan bilerek veri toplamaz. Uygulama; reklam, analiz SDK'sı veya herhangi bir kullanıcı takibi içermez.

10. Bu Politikadaki Değişiklikler

Bu politika değişirse güncellenmiş versiyon yeni bir "Son güncelleme" tarihi ile bu URL'de yayımlanacaktır.
